Hi Lovies, hope you all enjoyed your Easter holidays, we had ourselves quite a long holiday here in South Africa, I didn't go anywhere, but I'm sure you all had quite a feast yourselves all over the world.

 

This is dress is one of my favourites from my line Miss-Toni.com. I think is so sexy yet so very effortless, hugs you in all the right places while still looking very conservative because its very long, so you can pull off the 'Good Girl' look easily..hehehe.

The End and The Beginning!

 

Hallo Lovies, hope you are all great. I know this post is way overdue, my work has kept me crazy busy and as if that wasn’t enough, my sister was also getting married this past weekend so I was busy with that for the past few weeks as well, but the week of the weeding was craziest to the point that some nights I was only getting just 3 hours of sleep but the last straw came when I only got an hour’s sleep, I was clearly abused.The wedding was a 3 day celebration...Huh! the whole trauma got me thinking that maybe eloping is the way to go ...ha ha ha , don’t listen to me , I’m just rumbling on...Oh but it was beautiful, joyous, everybody was just amazed and had an amazing time, being with family is always just so great. I tell you I would do it all over again. 

Pink Valentine!

 

Happy Valentine’s Loveeis hope all the girls got chocolates and roses, sorry but I'm a sucker. I received a beautiful cute bouquet of roses this morning, talk about a great start to my day. Now I’m off to a lunch date with my best friend. I gave myself a day off today, I think it’s good to stop and smell the roses every now and then, live a little and V-day is just the perfect excuse for me. So this print dress is my outfit, there’s something very sweet about this dress, I feel so girly pretty and yet very trendy at the same time, maybe it’s the pink. An Angel On Board!

 

Hallo Loveeis hope u’ve all had a great start to the New Year. This is my first post for this year, so it had to be special, well I at least tried to make it special, and hence I’m wearing all white, just for u. Well white is special to me, but All white...hmm. U see the big huge thing behind me is a cruise ship...Uh, now it’s starting to make sense I’m sure, the all white look? That’s right this is me boarding a cruise ship to the Mozambique Island for the weekend. I know the all white theme is a little corny, but hey u gotta do it at least once and besides, although I know nobody is gonna believe this, but cruise ship white theme thing didn’t even cross my mind when I picked this outfit, it just happened like that and I only realised it afterwards as I was boarding the cruise ship. So I guess it was meant to be

Love Raining Down On Me!

Dont u just luv how the sun is shining down on me here, incredable hey. Its actually so insync with how I've been feeling these holidays. Anyway ,this is the new hair I’ve been rocking for the holidays...Ha ha I definitely wanted to go all out for these holidays, I wanted to make sure that I really relax, celebrate and wanted every part of my being to be in that mood and reflect it. It's the end of the year and I have a lot to be thankful for.

Ha ha thats just how this dress make me feel (ja ja I know its weird thats its in red, but yellow is not easy to read). It’s one of my favorite holiday dresses, not to say one can’t wear it any other time of the year, but for me I just always seem to wear it during the festive holidays, I don’t know, just something special about it. And I just know I’m going to have a great day the minute I put it on. So even everything has to be perfect when I do wear it, my hair, my mood, place and everything.

A Lacy Love Affair!

Lace is very huge right now. All over runways, fashion magazines and the streets. I suppose the fact that it whispers femininity without even trying makes it that much more appealing to women. With this particular dress I love the fact that it works well for cocktails and just a casual afternoon lunch with the girls, which is what I was doing here, enjoying a lazy afternoon drink .

When I first saw this print top I knew I had to have it, I just loved the style of it and the colors. But I had no idea what I was gonna wear it because it looked so serious. But it’s actually turned out to be one of my favorites and sexiest (without being too obvious) because it’s so versatile. I always feel so sexy and classy when I’m wearing it. U can dress it or dress it down, whatever rocks your heels.

 

Vintage Love!

 

I don’t wear this green skirt a lot but it has a special place in my heart, I would give away a few pairs of my heels before I gave it up, including this top. There two have a very vintage like look to them and I’m not really vintage person, it’s very very very seldom that I do a vintage look.

M.A.C GLAMOUR DAZE!!!

Just happened to run into the M.A.C team last Friday in Melrose Arch while doing cocktails with a friend (Ivete) to celebrate her new car. And what do u know, the M.A.CTeam also happened to be in Melrose as well promoting their ranger of new products.

Dirrrrty Dancing!

 

         I recently went to see the classic story ‘Dirty Dancing’ on stage at  MonteCasino. And I absolutely fell in love with it. I watched the movie a bit as I’m sure some of u have watched the movie (if u old enough) so I knew a bit about it and the dancing involved (with a bit of sparkle), well besides, the name makes it pretty obvious. So I wanted to sparkle a bit as well, look like a glam dancer as well. I wore my black, silver stripped dress and my brand new heels from Aldo. So this is me in my 'Dirty Dancing' pose.

Ladies Who Lunch!

 

I spent this past Saturday with my family, that is my Mum, brother, sister and nephew, only my middle sister was missing, her absence was felt, mainly because she’s such an entertainer  (every family has one), but we had a great time regardless. We spent the day doing some shopping and then finished off with a light lunch. U know if there’s anyone who can outshop me (if there is such a term) it’s my sister. I tell u, this woman is like an idiot when she gets to a shopping mall. She pretty much buys everything she lays her eyes on.  One would swear that she’s experiencing shopping for the very first time in her life. Honestly speaking, most of the staff in her closet still has price tags many years down the line. Anyway, this is what I wore.

2nd day on Luxury Train

My 2^nd day still on the Shosholoza Myl Luxury train. 6:30 I wake up to a moving train, I love it. Look out my window, it’s raining, I’m In love. A few minutes later, a knock on the door, its room service by one of the friendly warm staff members bringing me coffee in bed, its perfect.

Some tea while I wait for my breakfast (I didn’t want to overdo it with the caffeine). Sipping on my tea while peacefully looking out my window at the peaceful rain and beautiful sites and write down some notes. Amazingly so, breakfast was as if I’d actually booked into an actual hotel, choices of all sorts..Yum!

A Bygone Era!

So a few weeks ago I did a post about me spending my birthday on beach in Cape Town tilled, I’m in love. I think I did mention that instead of the usual flying to Cape Town, this time I took a luxury train. So I took the Shosoloza Myl Premier Classe Luxy train . I was very sceptic because , I didn't know what to expect, but, since this one is not your average train but a luxury train rather, I thought hey, why not do something different, so I went for it.

Chocolate!

This is one of my look I have been meaning to post but have not gotten a chance until now. Anyway it’s still winter here in SA but we were having one of our warmer days I’m sure you can tell by this outfit and the obvious sunshine from some of the pics. My skirt is actually a winter skirt ( I don’t know if you can see from the pics, but it is a winterish fabric ) I call it 'my sexy winter skirt' but I love that it also works for the warmer seasons as well, depending on the top I style it with.

I'm In Love!

I took a Luxury Train down to Capetown Camps bay last weekend for my Birthday and this is some of what I did during the day. I've been working hard and just wanted something to really relax me , it was my birthday after all and water has that relaxing effect on me. I dont know, maybe it has something to do with the fact that I'm a cancerian.

 Apparently we have a special realationship with water ( or the blue of the water..something like that) and the moon. But water does it for me.And what better place than Capetown hey. For those living in SA I'm sure you know about Capetown's beauty and for those of you elsewhere..well,now you know. Capetown is Beauuuuuuuuuutiful. I've been there a million times but I still melt everytime I go there.

Lets hear it for New York!

Jeez I've been meaning to do this post forever but I just get so buzy sometimes. Anyway, its all done now, soi here it is.

This trip was very different for me because I normally just prefer to visit and stay in beautiful resort like places and just relax and do yoga and stuff, but never anything city like this, so this was just boom! because I even stayed at one of the Sheraton hotels right in the middle of Newyork City, close to all the action and all the places I wanted to see - location location location.

Red Angel!

This is was my outfit on 'Youth Day' June 16th. These Red shoes are from Aldo are one of my favourite pairs and the lengths I had to go through to find them, Gosh! I call the 'Ruby'

Although this Red pair is my favourite, I must admit, our relationship was not Love at first sight, well maybe it was and I was somehow just in denial and it was only a matter of time before I came to the true realization of what was happening or what happened when Ruby (the Red shoes) and I first laid eyes on each other.

The City is Calling!

This is what I wore on my recent trip to New york City. It was my first time there so I really wanted to explore the see and see what everyone's been raving about, so comfort was very important. I must say that I was not disappointed.I post on my Travels tab a break down of my trip and more pics. 

The temperature was not cold but also not like super warm, well at least not as warm as Joburg in summer, so this sweater was perfect because its not too light and also not too heavy, especially if you are gonna be doing a bit of exploring and getting hot and tired. Also I love the color and my shoes were super comfortable .

Not much to say about this look, just me sipping on some cocktails at a beach restaurant in Cape Town, and its right on the beach hey, so nice..but sip on too many cocktails, you know where you'll end up (hint hint, at the bottom)..mm now that I think about it, maybe this is not such a good idea you know, dangerous game they are playing these people. Ag, but its still beautiful.

This is what I wore for my supper outing this past Thursday. Ja ja I know with it being winter here,  its a bit cold here and here I am with skin showing (just need to pull down my jacket a bit...really, its no biggie). But hey this is Africa after all so its not as if we get snowed under, freeze to death or anything crazy like that (Oh lucky us he he he he), so its not like I'll die. But ja, we must keep warm at all times.

Morning Glory by the Sea!

AFTER THE RAIN!

Decided to snap a few shots after this rain that came out of nowhere on Sunday while I was out for mother's day with my family. U know its not just the cold weather I have to put up with , no the rain must add to my troubles..crap. But we had a great time, inspite of the cold rain.

WINTER SUNSHINE!

I'm wearing brown and gold platforms from Zoom Shoes ( actually got these shoes free from a shoot I did some time ago) , a floral summer dress from my brand 'Love Dynasty' and a Belt I got from..cant remember the shop it was so long ago.

Winter is just starting out here but theres still a few useful sunrays left so a little dress...a little play ...just taking advantage of that before its all doom and gloom ...which will be sooner that later ....Damn I hate winter ....I just hate the damn thing, even though I was born in winter and I've heard that apparently because I was born in winter I'm suppose to be Ok with it ..But I just dont like it, its so mean...Summer and spring on the other hand are just pleasure all the way. But atleast u can really dress up for winter so thats one thing to look foward to ( I'm trying to make myself feel better by saying this but I'm not sure if Ive convinced myself even.)
